NEWS & EVENTS

In addition to our riding activities, we also organise a range of social activities for our members  such as regular pub nights, a summer picnic in St. James Park, visits to stables (in 2006 we went to see the Metropolitan Police horses, and in 2007 the Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace), trips to horsey events such as Olympia and Badminton, etc. etc. These events are a great way to get to know other  members, especially if you don't ride regularly.

The Annual Summer Picnic - 25 July 2008 This year we had the weather on our side with skies clearing just in time for the picnic to start in St. James's Park.  Friends and family joined us to enjoy some lovely food, strawberries, champagne and not the least a glass of Nancy's memorable Pimm's!
Once the sun started to set we moved on to the Royal Mews by kind invitation of Janet Bernard-Brown for a cup of tea, home made cake and a fascinating insight into the life at the Mews.
Altogether a lovely evening and we are already looking forward to next year!
